Welcome to the Desoto Beach Properties. We are one of the few family owned property management groups remaining on Tybee Island. We bought the Desoto Beach Hotel in 1999 and have acquired many other beach rentals since. Our goal is to provide you with an atmosphere that is relaxed, casual, and complete with all the necessary modern amenities. All our rooms, suites and vacation rentals have recently been renovated and updated as we strive towards total guest satisfaction.

Tybee Island is a barrier island and small city near Savannah, Georgia. It’s known for its wide, sandy beaches, including South Beach, with a pier and pavilion. In the island’s north, Fort Screven has 19th-century concrete gun batteries and the Tybee Island Light Station and Museum. The still-functioning 18th-century lighthouse has been rebuilt many times. The museum, in Battery Garland, focuses on local history.
