This relaxed, bright-yellow budget hotel is set on a stretch of white-sand beach, 1 mile from the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier and 8 miles from Butterfly World's botanical gardens. Traditional, individually decorated rooms have free Wi-Fi, TVs and either full kitchens or minifridges, microwaves, toasters and coffeemakers; some have patios and ocean views. Suites add separate living rooms. Outdoor amenities include beach access and a heated pool overlooking the beach, plus a tiki hut-style picnic area and a shuffleboard court. Coin-operated laundry facilities are available. Parking is free.

Pompano Beach is a Florida city just north of Fort Lauderdale. It’s known for its beaches, marinas and offshore coral reef, plus numerous wrecks and other dive sites.
