Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra is a monastery in Pochayiv, Kremenets Raion, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine. The monastery belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. For centuries, it has been the foremost spiritual and ideological centre of various Orthodox and Eastern Catholic denominations in Western Ukraine.
Pochaiv, also Pochayev is a town in the Ternopil Oblast of western Ukraine. It is located in the Kremenets Raion, and is located 18 km south-west of Kremenets and 70 km north of the oblast capital, Ternopil.
