This straightforward mountain lodge is 7 miles from Lake Owen and 31.4 miles from Bamforth National Wildlife Refuge. Casual rooms and suites offer rustic furnishings, coffeemakers and satellite TV. Some have porches and mountain views. Woodsy cabins (some with kitchenettes) are also available, as are houses with full kitchens. One house is set in a converted train boxcar. Amenities include a pine-paneled bar/restaurant and a convenience store. Summer activities include fishing and hiking, while snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles can be rented for a fee in winter.
