New York State Route 24 is a 30.84-mile-long east–west state highway on Long Island in the U.S. state of New York.
West Hempstead is a hamlet and census-designated place in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 19,835 at the 2020 census. It is an unincorporated area in the Town of Hempstead and is represented by Councilman Edward Ambrosino.
