Apex Mountain Resort is a ski resort in southwestern Canada, located in the Okanagan region on Beaconsfield Mountain, just west of Penticton, British Columbia. Its first Pomalift was installed in 1961, with a vertical rise of 370 m.

Hedley is an unincorporated community near the mouth of Hedley Creek in the Similkameen region of southern British Columbia. The former mining town, on BC Highway 3, is by road about 74 kilometres southwest of Penticton and 38 kilometres southeast of Princeton.
