Pozo Izquierdo is located in the southeast of Gran Canaria, it belongs to the coastal area of the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana. This location is, par excellence, the most suitable for windsurfing. The southernmost area, called "Salina de Pozo", is perfect for kitesurfing. The weather conditions for these sports are perfect almost all year round. Since the end of the 80s, one of the sporting events with the greatest national and international projection has been held, the World Windsurfing Championship, bringing together the best riders from all countries and holding concerts and shows perfect for spending unforgettable days.
